Are Detox diets any good?
There are so many to chose from, the juice cleanse, the drinking detox, the 3-day detox and so many more.
Do they work? Probably!
But why do they work? I believe they work because of what you are not putting into your rather than what you are.
If you are on a detox plan and if you are sticking to it then you will have stopped putting all the things in your body that you are trying to detox against. So, your body will detox them on its own naturally. I’m sure all the extra vitamin’s you will be getting from the juice or whatever you are detoxing with are good for you.
I believe that if you stop doing whatever it is you are doing that is causing the need to detox in the first place then the body will take care of the rest.
Basically, if you eat & drink healthy then maybe there is no need for all these fancy detox plans. Live a happy healthy and active life and “be excellent to each other” shameless Bill & Ted Quote.
