Kickboxing is one of the best things you can do if you looking to burn fat, get fitter or learn self-defence. My own workouts always include body weight exercises, pad work and technique. All this combines to make it one of the best total body workouts you can do. With the added bonus that you are learning a new skill.
As well as the fitness benefits kickboxing is also a great confidence builder and as you progress it will only motivate you to learn more.
Its not all about fighting. like any martial art is based around respect and self-discipline. It’s about getting fit, self-improvement and learning.
I personally started kickboxing to learn self-defence and I from there it sparked a passion in me as well as a new career. As I progressed, I started to compete in amateur bouts and even won a European title under the King of the Ring promotion.
